Nusrat Jahan started volunteering after struggling to find a quiet place to feed her daughter during a hospital visit. Eight months later she has added 62 approved places in Dhaka, more than anyone else in Bangladesh.
She focuses on hospitals and shopping malls, and always checks two things in person: whether the room is really open to everyone, and which floor it is on.
“Most places exist already. People just can’t find them.”
Nusrat earned her Community Mapper certificate in March and now trains new volunteers in her neighbourhood.
